Preparing for Peace

The website of the Westmorland General Meeting 'Preparing for Peace' initiative

 Lectures

This initiative is based on a series of public lectures and gifted papers by experts in the fields of military history, international relations, peace-keeping and policy analysis; experts on the humanitarian, environmental and economic costs of armed conflict.

These lectures and papers are being compiled into a single publication, to be given to decision makers at all levels of world politics, with particular emphasis on The UN and its specialist agencies. We hope this publication will become a tool for engagement, discussion, analysis and change.
